Kano makes NIN compulsory for public secondary school students
THE Kano State government has directed all students of public secondary schools in the state to register and obtain the National Identification Number (NIN). Refresh The Commissioner for Education, Alhaji Sanusi Saidu-Kiru, gave the directive in a statement issued by the Chief Public Relations Officer in the ministry, Malam Aliyu Yusuf on Friday in Kano. The National Examinations Council (NECO) has gotten a new Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, Professor Godswill Obioma. Professor Obioma’s appointment has been approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.
